Mullein - Dried Leaf

Mullein leaves (Verbascum thapsus) are harvested fresh during the second year of the plants life cycle. 

Its herbal energetics are cool, moistening and astringent. It has an affinity to the lungs, throat, lymphatic system, nervous system and the muscular skeletal system. It acts as an expectorant, antispasmodic, analgesic, vulnerary and as a mild sedative.

Mullein helps to moisten the mucosa, soothe and calm the tissues of the throat and lungs and bring down inflammation.

These leaves were grown and harvested fresh on our off-grid Herb Farm.
