THE HERB FARM

Nestled on the edge of a vast piece of land in Squamish Valley at the foot of Cloudburst Mountain facing south-east, rests the small Herb Farm of Mountainfarm Herbs. The closest town of Squamish, just touches the tip of the Pacific Ocean, and is the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples – Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) First Nations.

This special off-grid growing space has been slowly and methodically curated since 2022 from the overgrown grassy edge of a wild meadow, to a medicinal plant persons paradise; harvesting sunlight, collecting and storing water and growing & gathering medicinal herbs.

2025 was a big year of hard work and much needed expansion for the Herb Farm and filled out two new rows of bulk Marshmallow, Elecampane, Clary Sage & Skullcap out in the big field. With more rows ready to plant we're excited for what's to come in 2026 and beyond, as this just feels like the beginning of what is possible with local Herbal Medicine to the Sea to Sky community.
