THE FARM
Nestled on the edge of a large property, at the foot of Cloudburst Mountain, facing the south-east, rests the large herb garden of Mountainfarm Herbs.
Sarah Rose and her partner are the current co-caretakers and grateful land stewards of over 160 acres of wild forest and field in the Upper Squamish Valley, Sea to Sky area. The closest town of Squamish, just touches the tip of the Pacific Ocean, and is the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples – Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) First Nations.
This special off-the-grid space has been slowly and methodically curated over the past seven years from the desolate edge of a wild meadow, with no running water or power, to a forest loving, plant persons paradise; harvesting sunlight, collecting and storing water and growing food and herbs.
