Mugwort Dried Herb

Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) carries an energy that is dry and warm, circulating and bitter and has an affinity with the Liver and Gallbladder as well as our Nervous and Reproductive systems. Mugwort holds the unique power of how to move and clear stuck energy, whether physical, emotional or spiritual.

This fresh dried herb can be utilized as a bitter to help increase ‘digestive fire’ or as an emmenagogue when there is irritability, bloating or sluggishness during moontime.

But most special of all is that the Artemesia family has a connection to the Dreamtime and can be used to enhance visioning and lucid dreaming when taken before bedtime.

In folklore Mugwort was believed to initiate the clarity of the dream experience and to help us remember dreams easier. As a renowned Visionary herb, the Artemisias were the plants that opens one to dreams of the future.
