Marshmallow Dried Leaf

Marshmallow Leaves (Althaea officinalis) are harvested fresh during Spring-Fall of each year during the various stages of the plants growth cycle. 

Its herbal energetics are cooling, sweet and moist. Marshmallow is wonderful for soothing irritations and inflammations of the respiratory, urinary, and digestive tracts. It has a mild expectorant action and can be taken for coughs, sore throats, and lung complaints.

These leaves were grown and harvested fresh on our off-grid Herb Farm.
