When I first moved to this property almost a decade ago this land was home to a large scale Hops farm, cared for meticulously by the previous owner.

I remember fondly walking through row upon row of spiralling Hops towering over my head in full flower just in awe of this plant. Since those days long ago now the Hops fields lie fallow, yet I have transplanted many of these powerful plant allies over to the Herb Farm area to carry on its legacy in whatever small way I can.
Humulus lupulus is cooling & drying and carries a bitter and pungent taste. Hops acts as a relaxing nervine, mild sedative, antispasmodic, diuretic, and digestive aid, helpful for stress, anxiety, insomnia, menopause, menstrual cramps, stagnant digestion, and eczema issues.

So much more than just an ingredient in beer, there are many ways to heal using this lovely herb.
