As Summertime begins in Squamish Valley so too does the busy & beautiful blooming and harvest season!

Baskets full of Yarrow, bowls brimming with St.Johns Wort and the first sightings of Calendula & Borage blooms. This time of year is so rich in beauty and abundance and I’m so here for it!

Pollinators are flying in from miles around and I’ve been out in the wild fields, mountainsides and Herb gardens harvesting, drying and infusing all the magic into oils, alcohols and vinegars to restock so many of your favourite grown & gathered herbal goodies.
The poet Mary Oliver asked - what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? The flowers seem to offer a simple answer: bloom. Bloom where you are planted, even if the soil is thin and the winds are strong. Offer your beauty to the world, however briefly, and find joy in the simple act of being.“
As this new day begins to dawn within another full Summer season of living embodied upon this beautiful Earth, may we listen ever deeper to our own inner voice, the voice of nature, plants and the wise words of all those who came before us.
